Ross and his team have always provided exceptional, caring and empathetic service and personal care, unlike the franchise vets who clearly only care about their profit margins. I would never go anywhere else. The girls are always lovely and welcoming and they genuinely care about our pets like their own. Thanks Ross and team, you guys are the best 👌

My cat has had eye problems since a kitten so I’ve seen many, many veterinarians. Dr Ross is the first vet that actually used dye to inspect my cats eye closer and diagnose the issue in one visit which means less discomfort for my cat and quicker healing. Also friendly reception team. Will continue to come here moving forward.

We took Bruce the 16 year old rescue cat to see Dr Kelly after he had a reoccurring abscess from being attacked by a roaming cat . Kelly was very caring and checked the old boy over ,cleaned out the wound and put him on antibiotics. He has healed up quickly and now thinks he’s a kitten again, chasing his tail between naps . We were very impressed to get a phone call after the 10 days of antibiotics to see how he was doing . We don't get that kind of care from our GP.

I must say that Dr. Ross and the staff at Hinterland Veterinary Surgery would have to be the most supportive people. Dr. Ross has been fantastic with my dogs. One of which he had to put to sleep last week 😭 He talked me through the whole process as my baby of 15 years passed away in my arms. The girls were great too. They didn’t rush me to take her and get her sorted for her burial at home. She is now at rest right beside her mother 😭

Our beautiful Rosie girl broke her leg at 4 months old. The team were extremely supportive and made a stressful situation so much easier by supporting us and our daughter through a very traumatic experience. Even prior to our poodles surgery assisted in getting her a freshen up (she was due for a groom at time of break). I’m sure I was a pretty anxious dog Mum and called heaps asking about medication and behaviours we experienced and we were always met with kindness and compassion! Our darling girl is thriving since surgery and we cannot thank this team enough!

Dr Ross and the team are absolutely amazing! They’ve cared for all our pets, 2 dogs recently diagnosed with cancer, our rat, our birds and displayed nothing but kindness and compassion! Highly recommend. A+++++ keep up the great work team 😊 …

Brought our puppy in for his vaccines and the staff and service is second to none! Nurse Jean and Dr Ross both wonderful with our little boy and really took their time with our appointment, wasn't rushed at all. Thank you :)

Dr Ross has looked after our pets for 12 years and his dedication is truly commendable. He sincerely cares for our elderly dog and has done so since he was an 8 week old puppy doing puppy school at hinterland vet. Cannot recommend high enough the competence, kindness and professionalism of Dr Ross. Thank you

We’ve been bringing all of our dogs to Highland Veterinary Surgery for over a decade, and the care and service have always been exceptional. Dr. Ross and Jess consistently go above and beyond to make sure our dogs receive the best possible treatment.
